• Summary of an existing conditions assessment, including review of existing plans and development of a community demographic profile
• Community goals, needs, issues, and opportunities aligned with the local planning rules
• A housing vision that indicates current housing trends, identifies potential housing opportunities, and incorporates future types of residential development utilizing best practices and potential areas.
• Recommendations for economic development strategies that align with the college park business and industrial development authority (BIDA)
• Strategies for integrating best practices to support arts and culture
• A transportation strategy that aligns with the vision for land use and housing
• A land use vision, including review of character areas and the future land use, zoning, parks, green space, and multi-use trail opportunities within each character area
• A report of accomplishments and updated community work program aligned with the local planning rules
• A community participation plan for online and in-person community engagement
• Detailed maps, graphics, and illustrations to support all components of the comprehensive plan update.
