The Vendor is required to provide services for a grant-funded project to support the research, design, enhancement, and further development of teacher residency models at universities institutions.
- Services will include, but are not limited to, research and analysis, project planning, policy development, assistance with future grant application(s), project management support, and regular reporting.
- Partner with a national organization to support a highly structured model of change, using cross functional teams from each university to implement multiple, small-scale tests of change leading to measurable improvement.
- Work will be primarily remote; however, universities may require up to three (3) in-person attendances at meetings or events.
- It is estimated that a minimum of twenty (20) hours of effort per week will be required.
- Research plan
• Conduct a comprehensive study of current universities education preparation programs, including the description of programs, literature review, and best practices in experiential learning, alignment with relevant accreditation standards, and university-specific strengths and resources.
- Project plan/summary
• Provide a project description, design principles (what are the universities are trying to achieve), facilitate and record the selection of partners by each university team, administrative structure, historical enrollment data, growth predictions, and future financial modeling.
- Policy development plan
• Research opportunities for fiscal sustainability and assist in policy development. This will include engagement with the department.
- Grant Application
• Create monthly project reports for project progression, to include details as mutually agreed upon by both parties and approved by universities.
• These documents will serve as the outline for the year 2 grant proposal to be submitted in March 2026.
• The successful proposer will assist in preparing this proposal.
- Project management support
• Support campus team advancement toward project deliverables and timelines by facilitating meetings via bi-weekly check-ins, and coordinating the reporting from campus teams to universities partner organization.
• Schedule and facilitate, or as applicable, assist universities partner organization in scheduling meetings and reviewing meeting agendas.
- Presentation to leadership
• Prepare a final draft document for suggested improvements upon current oversight and support of teacher residency programs for the universities system.
• A presentation of findings will be conducted in written form, with the option of a formal presentation for the executive administration of the universities system office.
