The Vendor is required to provide to identify efficiencies and inefficiencies in the use, operation, and management of the City's fleet, and to establish a future ready framework for fleet operations, maintenance, procurement, and sustainability.
- Based on the business requirements:
• Fleet utilization by departments
• Maintenance practices (routine, preventive, and major repairs) and staffing level
• Inventory and parts management (inventory management software)
• Work order systems and digital maintenance tracking
• Fleet management software (e.g., city works, geotab integration)
• Fleet lifecycle and procurement strategy
• Cost-efficiency models for small vs. large fleet maintenance.
• Equipment sufficiency and hybrid options
• Garage operations and internal chargeback models.
