The Vendor is required to provide research and survey services.
- Responsible for conducting multiple annual surveys over a three-year period capturing the survey results in a database; providing database survey results in tables, charts, and other graphic visuals; and preparing a summary report for each survey with detailed observations (verbatim), and a narrative executive summary report.
- Survey results must be evaluated and compared to past available survey results, with detailed observations made of year-to-year comparison.
- The survey results must be based on standard practices methodology that ensures an outcome of reliable defensible data.
- To ensure consistency of information, the methodology and questions asked in each survey should remain virtually the same from year to year, with the possible exception of up to ten additional questions to assess current conditions/situations.
- The survey is approximately twenty-five questions in length.
- Target quotas by route should be developed based on actual ridership to ensure a cross-section of riders completing the survey.
- The Executive Summary Report for each survey shall contain a narrative that lists the purpose of the survey, the methodology employed, summary findings of each question on the survey, along with graphical representation of each question with comparison or trend data to previous surveys.
