Independent Cost Estimating and Review Services

The Vendor is required to provide independent cost estimating and review services.
- To achieve these goals, the City is conducting a capital project to install two 12.5 MGD pumps at each of the three (3) pump stations along with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and associated instrumentation and controls. 
- Because the pump stations are fifteen (15) years old, we are also pursuing various improvements including SCADA upgrades, asset upgrades as identified by operations, and asset upgrades called for in the City’s current Asset Management - Guidelines.
- The preliminary design report formalizing key decisions regarding needed improvements and repairs was completed by Stantec Engineers. In addition, 60% design documents are complete. Stantec Engineers is currently working toward 90% design documents for Work Package 02, the main works package, which are expected in the spring.
- Project Management tasks include but are not limited to attending progress meetings (assume three (3) hours per month) during the preconstruction phase, invoicing, and general coordination.
