The Vendor is required to provide on-call survey services to support District facilities and capital improvement projects.
- Provide survey support that is needed to provide accurate field data and deliverables for items such as boundary verification, topographic mapping, area surveys (as applicable), utility locates/mapping coordination, construction staking, easement and right-of-way documentation, and as-built surveys.
- Obtaining and reviewing relevant deeds, recorded plats, right-of-way maps, easement documents, dedication instruments, and any other documents of record that affect or describe the subject property
- Reviewing adjoining tract records to identify conflicts, overlaps, gaps, or ambiguities in boundary descriptions
- Establishing the survey basis, including bearings, datum, and coordinate system appropriate for the project
- Locating and recovering existing monuments, property corners, right-of-way markers, and other physical evidence of boundary
- Identifying and documenting apparent encroachments observed in the field, including but not limited to fences, walls, buildings, structures, driveways, and other improvements that are located near, on, or across boundary lines
- Gathering sufficient measurements and observations to support a complete and defensible boundary resolution
- New tract descriptions for district real property records
- Acquisition parcels associated with land purchases or condemnation proceedings
- Easement dedications for utilities, access, drainage, or other purposes
- Public dedications or other conveyance instruments requiring a formal legal description
- Setting or verifying control points with appropriate accuracy for the project type and construction tolerances required
- Establishing benchmarks and referencing them to the applicable datum
- Providing a control point list and benchmark summary delivered in both PDF and CAD formats
- Optionally providing a point file in an agreed format if requested by the district or contractor
- Building corners and offset stakes, building pad limits
- Curb and gutter lines, sidewalk alignments, and pavement limits
- Storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water line alignments, manholes, inlets, and structures
- Grading stakes with cut and fill information where required by the scope
- Other site features as identified in the task order
