- The Labour Market Study will examine the overall job market, the role of international students and temporary foreign workers in addressing local labour shortages, and the role of youth in the workforce.
- Services include:
• Workforce analysis, including current labour supply, workforce characteristics (working age population and size; and composition) participation trends, and identified gaps or shortages, including the role of youth, international students, and temporary foreign workers in the labour force
• Business and industry landscape review, identifying key sectors, employers, and economic drivers, business size and industry type
• Employment opportunity assessment, including emerging, seasonal, future employment opportunities
• Stakeholder and community engagement, incorporating input from employers, service providers, educational institutions, industry representatives, and other relevant partners
• Development of practical recommendations to support future workforce development initiatives, funding applications, and policy or program development.
