The vendor is required to provide that wide area network services (wan) for complete and accurate reference information on the form below; completing fields.
- 10 gig intranet connectivity to each site within the district utilizing a fiber optic network.
- All fiber and hardware components from each serviced school to each of the two serviced data centers.
- The department current wan services/capabilities are listed below and are to be maintained.
• A primary dedicated network of fiber providing high-speed intranet/internet connectivity to each department location currently supporting 10 GB of bandwidth from each site to the country data center and to the central office instructional support facility data center.
• Separate VLAN capabilities.
• Robust data services for centralized, mission-critical applications
• Video conferencing.
• IP quality of service (QOS) maintained end-to-end across the wan.
• Wan monitoring, management, and reporting capabilities.
• 99.5% wan availability defined in clear and concise service level agreements (SLAS)
• Support services available 24/7/365.
• Vendor must provide these capabilities at each location with the wan and between the department country data center and the central office instructional support facility.
- The solution must support all routing protocols, including, but not limited to enhanced interior gateway routing protocol
- Site locations may increase or decrease as needed.
- To maintain all licenses, bonds, permits, pay all license fees and taxes, etc. related to the work.
- All debris must be in a manner required by federal, state, and county regulations/laws
- Provide background information about your company along with an overview of your organization and list your company's experience with providing wan services listed
- Provide resumes of local support personnel, highlighting applicable certifications to ensure that all assigned support personnel are qualified on the hardware, software, and services, included in the wan solution.
- Provide detailed project methodology and implementation of the required bandwidth for the wan, including the vendor’s capability, and expertise to design, install, test, maintain, and manage the district-wide wan.
- Provide a transition plan on how your company will manage and maintain the wan to meet availability and QOS requirements.
- Contract Period/Term: 5 years
