Campus wide Fiber Network Ring Services

The vendor is required to provide a high-level figure optic design development for a campus-wide figure optic network ring.
- Provide college high-level design drawings for the fiber conduit routing on our main campus including vault and handhole placement and fiber distribution locations essential for establishing a fiber optic ring network.
• Develop cable sizing requirements;
• Develop duct sizes, counts and architecture;
• Review design requirements with acting director of networking services;
• Develop preliminary route layouts for backbone and laterals
• Develop preliminary fiber cable sizing and strand counts;
• Identify preliminary locations for fiber service locations, fiber distribution hubs, vaults, splice cases and handholes, as required;
• Develop GIS shapefile
• Review and approve with acting director of networking services;
• Deliverables will include: o Architecture design requirements documentation;
o FTTP of high-level design delivered in GIS format and electronically;
o A BOM in excel file that corresponds to high level design.
