Secondary Internet Service

The vendor is required to provide internet service providers (ISPs) to establish a secondary internet connection at the police headquarters data center, located city.
• Provide a dedicated 10 Gbps dedicated internet access (DIA) connection with 100% availability.
• Support future bandwidth scalability as requested by the city.
• Provide a /27 block of static ipv4 publicly routable addresses.
• Deliver service through a physically separate and redundant network path from the city’s primary ISP
• Submit documentation that clearly demonstrates network path diversity, including separate facility entry points.
• Include a comprehensive service level agreement (SLA) with:
o A minimum monthly uptime guarantee of 99.999%.
o Defined response and resolution times, communication protocols, and escalation procedures during service outages.
• Provide 24/7/365 proactive network monitoring with automated alerts and rapid issue resolution.
• Offer access to a local customer service team for support and technical assistance.
• Include a detailed infrastructure diagram, highlighting:
o Physical routing paths.
o Redundancy and failover systems.
o Protections against fiber cuts, hardware failures, and power outages.
• Submit monthly performance reports detailing:
o Uptime and availability.
o Latency and other key metrics.
o Incident history and service trends.
• Furnish and install all necessary networking equipment, including configuration and testing.
• Coordinate installation with the city’s IT department to ensure minimal disruption to police headquarters operations.
• Assign a dedicated project manager to oversee:
o The full installation process.
o Communication during deployment.
o Ongoing service management throughout the contract.
• Enter into a 5-year agreement, with options for multi-year extensions based on mutual agreement and performance.
