The Vendor is required to provide for the procurement of hardware and maintenance services for the deployment of a new Wi-Fi network infrastructure.
- Services include:
• Procure high-quality components capable of supporting a large-scale Wi-Fi network, capable of the latest technologies.
• Obtain maintenance and support services to ensure the reliability and uptime of the network.
• Implement redundancy measures to minimize downtime and maximize availability.
• Include monitoring and managing software solutions to efficiently oversee network operations.
• Provide a permanent lab solution for ongoing testing and validation (a small installation that allows us ability to test code upgrades and configuration changes
• Supply and delivery of hardware components including access points, controllers, gateways, power supplies, and any other necessary equipment to replace 6000 access points. Solution should be able to scale to a minimum of 8000 APs to account for expected growth.
• Solution should be highly redundant and able to survive any single component failure and have no interruption of service
• Monitoring and managing software solutions capable of overseeing network performance, troubleshooting, and configuration management.
• Maintenance and support services covering hardware repair and replacement, firmware updates, troubleshooting, and technical support.
• Provision of warranty and support agreements for all supplied equipment and software.
• Hardware components must be capable of supporting Wi-Fi technology including Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6, and Wi-Fi 6E. Describe how your solution is capable of supporting Wi-Fi 7 in the future.
• Redundant solution with automatic/high-availability failover capabilities.
• Redundant power supplies for critical network components.
• Scalable architecture to accommodate future expansion.
• On premise tunnel termination/Controllers/gateway devices must have high bandwidth (minimum aggregate 40 GB) redundant connectivity to our core network.
• Compatibility with existing network infrastructure.
• Monitoring and managing software solutions should provide real-time performance monitoring, configuration management, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Integrates with Aruba Clear Pass Radius server for 802.1x port-based access control
• Ability to create isolated WLAN’s for localized L2 networks, bridge mode
• Ability to push configurations and changes to groups of access points via the management server
• Zero touch provisioning of access points is desired
• Access points proposed for installation should be functional and allow radios to be active when supplied with only a single 802.3at POE+ power connection.
• Prefer if Qty (2) aggregated PoE+ is an option to power hallway and/or high density
