Network Deployment Services

The Vendor is required to provide network equipment deployment services in support of agency and its public sector partners.
- CISCO network infrastructure for the provision of resources for the following deliverables:
•    Potentially receive, warehouse, manage inventory and shipping/staging logistics to the project site.
•    Unpack all equipment and install in rack, or appropriate designated location, according to agency provided topologies and direction.
•    Power on equipment, complete firmware updates as requested, and test equipment for initial proper functioning. 
•    Default passwords would be used for this initial set-up.
•    Configure the network equipment with base configuration according to provided templates.
•    Assist with all device configuration and testing work, and act as “boots on the ground” to assist in patching, configuration of vLANS, WAN circuits, ports, routing etc.
•    Final troubleshooting process and equipment hardening in the production environment to be completed prior to final hand over to agency.
•    Document equipment placement in racks and provide high resolution photos of all equipment installed (both front and back).
•    Ensure all equipment and cables are labelled according to agency requirements.
•    Provide high resolution photos of all cable patch work completed to ensure it meets agency standards.
•    For WAPs, wireless controllers and IP phones, provide a final diagram of physical locations as well as patching in the network closet. 
•    Other tasks as required may include predictive wireless surveys, and post-implementation optimization. 
•    Preparation of technical documents, diagrams, and photos to facilitate transition to agency will also be required. 
•    For IP phones all work will be completed according to agency standards and direction:
o    UCM / Unity / WAN VoIP Router and any VG analog configuration work
o    End user desktop device staging, wireless phones, call forwarding, voice mail, develop departmental call plans, and prepare information required by agency, logistics, and deployment.
