The Vendor is required to provide network cabling services firm to support college district’s structured cabling needs.
- Provide installation, termination, testing, and repair of copper and fiber-optic cabling systems for new construction projects, modifications to existing facilities, and ongoing adds, moves, and changes to existing network infrastructure.
- Provides quality teaching and learning through a clearly defined set of programs, services, and partnerships that include:
• University transfer programs
• Workforce education programs
• Technical programs
• Customized training
• Developmental courses
• Adult literacy courses
• Lifestyle and community learning, including continuing education
- Employees approach their work through strategies for five goals:

- Structured Cabling Installation
• Installation of copper and fiber-optic structured cabling systems, including horizontal, backbone, and riser cabling, in accordance with current TIA/EIA and manufacturer standards. Proposers should describe past projects and methodologies used.
- Modular Connector and Hardware Installation
• Installation and termination of modular connectors, patch panels, faceplates, racks, cable management systems, and related hardware. Vendors should identify the types of hardware they are certified or experienced in installing (e.g., panduit, corning, and leviton).
- Cabling for New and Existing Infrastructure
• Experience installing cabling in both new construction and active operational facilities, including working around live environments, occupied spaces, and existing pathways. Proposers should provide examples demonstrating their ability to integrate new cables into current systems without disruption.
