The Vendor is required to provide modern architectures, service models, and technical solutions that may address existing gaps and enable a secure, highly available, and future-focused public-safety network. 
- Support the County’s assessment of potential approaches to enhancing inter-agency data sharing, CJIS-compliant access, digital evidence workflows, real-time situational awareness, and integration with emerging technologies such as IoT sensors, drones, and mobile platforms. 
- Provide to gather market research and better understand the range of modern technologies available to support the future modernization of the county’s public safety communications network (PSCN).
- Agencies now depend on secure cloud integrations, high-bandwidth applications, mobile data access, digital evidence exchange, real-time situational awareness tools, and next-generation technologies such as IoT sensors, drones, robotics, and advanced analytics.

•    Deliver a resilient core-and-branch architecture with high availability and redundancy
•    Implement Zero Trust access controls, micro-segmentation, and strong identity governance
•    Provide multi-path WAN connectivity, automated failover, and degraded-mode operations
•    Ensure CJIS-compliant encryption, auditing, monitoring, and privileged-access controls
- Interoperability, Data Exchange and Systems Integration
•    Support integration with CAD, RMS, JMS, CJIS systems, AWS, countywide message switch, and NG911
•    Enable real-time data sharing, streaming, and cross-agency situational awareness
•    Provide standards-based interoperability.
•    Facilitate secure transfer of digital evidence, documents, and operational intelligence
- Operational Tools, User Experience and Next-Generation Capabilities
•    Support mobile and field access to PSC applications, data, photos, and bulletins
•    Enable radio audio streaming, recording, retention, and secure transcription
•    Offer real-time AVL, unit status visibility, geofencing, and hazard overlays
•    Provide scalable integration with emerging technologies (IoT sensors, drones, robotics, telematics)
- Centralized Management, Monitoring and Support
•    Provide unified management for security policies, updates, and configuration control
•    Offer end-to-end monitoring of network performance, uptime, and facility infrastructure
•    Enable proactive alerting, diagnostics, and incident response workflows
•    Support migration planning, training, long-term scalability, and service-level commitments
