The Vendor is required to provide telecommunication services for wide area network (WAN) by the district.
- District would like to receive bids from telecommunications carriers which can provide high-speed, non-wireless telecommunications connectivity including internet service.
- The primary goal is to allow the district to leverage existing telecommunications equipment; have 7x24 Network support, end-to-end scalability, secure network transport for student information, and local support.
- Equipment and Power Requirements: The vendor must supply, install, and maintain all necessary electronics (e.g., switches, transceivers, media converters) to deliver service to the CER. All vendor supplied equipment must be powered by vendor-provided Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and maintained for the duration of the contract. UPS systems must provide a minimum of 30 minutes of uptime to ensure continuity during brief outages or transitions.

- Provide measurement reports/graphs for common network service metrics available online or via software. For example, bandwidth, network uptime and downtime, network availability expressed in percent, network response time.
- Provide routers, switches, modems, and related devices that are current, fully supported, and actively maintained by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
