The Vendor is required to provide pharmacy benefit management (PBM) services for their 3,200 eligible employees.
- Requirement:
• Provides a financially competitive proposal for the identified benefits.
• Provides a strong rate guarantee.
• A minimum of five (5) years is required, with multiple years beyond that being looked upon favorably.
• Provide relative values for the additional years;
• Offers excellent customer service for county employees.
• Agrees to performance guarantees around service quality, accuracy, and timeliness of claims payment and implementation standards;
• Delivers quality account management with professional, timely, and flexible resolution of issues;
• Agrees to work with a contract that incorporates RFP responses and commitments as deliverables.
o Contractor must have a PBM license to operate in all 50 us states and territories (where required by state law).
o Contractor must manage at least one million RX lives.
o Contractor must be in good standing with the county board of county commissioners.
o Contractor must have been in business for at least eight (8) years as a full-service PBM or health plan carrier.
o Contractor must be a publicly traded company or be willing to disclose most recent financial statements and SOC 2.
o Contractor must utilize their own claims processing system or lease a nationally recognized claims processing system.
o Contractor must agree to provide an annual gag-clause attestation letter, as defined by the consolidated appropriations act.
o Contractor must do business with at least 3-5 government/public sector clients in the state and neighboring states.
