Pharmacy Network Vendor Services

The Vendor is required to provide pharmacy network for participants of the county's workers' compensation self-insurance program.
- Pharmacy network vendor shall:
•    Provide warren county self-insurance plan participants access to an established pharmacy network in the warren county area. 
•    The network shall be currently filed and approved for use by the state workers' compensation board; 
•    Provide all workers' compensation carrier notices necessary for carrier filing with the state workers' compensation board; 
•    Provide all notices necessary for the carrier to distribute to participant employees; 
•    Provide all notices necessary for posting at employer locations; 
•    Provide all services in accordance with current state workers' compensation laws;
•    Be responsible for issuing timely reports, both written and oral, on the status of pending and proposed activities as may reasonably be requested by the county. 
•    All written reports will also be made available to the county in electronic format; 
•    Be expected to meet from time to time with the county; the meeting time, place and attendees shall be mutually agreed upon by the parties; 
•    Notify third-party billers and network pharmacies that future prescriptions must be processed through the pharmacy vendor; 
•    Contact the participating pharmacy upon receipt of a paper bill to request online billing for future submissions; 
•    Contact the injured employee upon receipt of a paper bill from a non-participating pharmacy advising them of the requirement to use a participating pharmacy; 
•    Prepare and present a claim form approved for payment by the county. 
•    Payment will be made within thirty (30) days after approval by the office;
•    Provide a physician to address level 2 reviews per the state workers compensation drug formulary regulations; and 
•    Be entitled to no more than the fees set forth by the state workers' compensation pharmacy fee schedule in effect at the time of pharmacy dispensing.
