The vendor is required to provide real estate brokerage firm to professional services related to real property assets owned by the city.
- The selected firm will be responsible for assisting the city administrator’s staff with brokerage services, which may include:
• Providing advice regarding property valuation
• Portfolio organization and analysis
• Strategic planning for property leasing and disposal
• Listing services for the leasing of the city center garage retail spaces
• Listing services for sale of city surplus property, and (vi) overseeing escrow and closing for such sales
- The contractor shall evaluate city-owned properties deemed surplus and available for sale; and as a result, provide an assessment of revenue potential and recommendations and planning for expedited and streamlined disposition of that city-owned land
- All real estate transactions are to be processed with approval of the city and in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, ordinances, and city charter of the city.
- Handle marketing of properties for sale or lease including providing updated and accurate listing information and coordinate with city staff to update the city’s website.
