The vendor is required to provide property appraisal services for include:
1. Subrogation reviews:
• The successful vendor will be required to:
o Acknowledge receipt of assignment via email within 24 hours.
o Complete subrogation review with comments within 10 business days of assignment.
o Review the submitted estimate and damages and find overages in repairs, repair time and alternate part usage.
o Review the total repair time and determine the number of days to repair.
o In total loss evaluations, figure the actual cash values (acv) of the damaged vehicles and ensure the salvage amounts are calculated correctly.
• Provide a description of the service standards utilized in reviewing damage appraisals with bid response.
2. Small property damage appraisals:
• The successful bidder will be required to:
o Acknowledge receipt of assignment via email within 24 hours.
o The claimant regarding the assignment with 2 business days of receipt to schedule the inspection.
o Complete and submit repair estimate to the city within 3 business days of the completed assignment.
o Write repair estimates according to insurance industry standards.
o Supplements, if required, will be performed at no additional cost to the city.
• Provide a description of the service standards utilized in preparing property damage appraisals.
• A sample appraisal shall be provided with the bid response.
• Failure to provide sample appraisal may result in bid disqualification.
• Include the cost of appraisals by category, to include:
o Property can be in residential or commercial areas to include mailboxes, fences, retaining walls, landscaping, vegetation and shrubbery, and driveway and sidewalk damages.
• Include a minimum of four useable digital photographs and include a brief description of the damages.
• Responsible for transportation to all appraisal sites to perform the services described in this bid.
3. Structural property damage appraisals:
• The successful bidder will be required to:
o Acknowledge receipt of assignment via email within 24 hours.
o Contact the claimant regarding the assignment within 2 business days of receipt to schedule the inspection.
o Complete and submit repair estimate to the city within 3 business days of the completed assignment.
o Write repair estimates according to insurance industry standards.
o Supplements, if required, will be performed at no additional cost to the city.
• Provide a description of the service standards utilized in preparing property damage appraisals.
• A sample appraisal shall be provided with the bid response.
• Failure to provide sample appraisal may result in bid disqualification.
c. Include the cost of appraisals by category, to include:
• Property can be in residential or commercial areas to include minor damage to buildings or structures that could reasonably result from collision by city equipment (i.e., eaves overhang, exterior wall, gutters, roof, and utility service drops).
• Include a minimum of four useable digital photographs and include a brief description of the damages.
• Bidder is responsible for transportation to all appraisal sites to perform the services described in this bid.
