The Vendor is required to provide insurance services to agency.
- Marketing/placement of insurance program coverage for the period July 1 - July 1. This would include travel in support of marketing/placement activities.
- Ongoing account service, which may include, but not be limited to:
• Issuance of cover notes and preparation of vehicle liability cards
• Issuance of policies within 60 days of inception, including a comprehensive review and written report detailing all changes, omissions or errors in policy documents with plan as to corrections
• Verification, in writing, of any new policy conditions and changes over the previous terms
• Issuance of endorsements
• Issuance of invoices
• Development and management of insurance premium financing options
• Certificates of Insurance (within 24 hours of request) (daily)
• Professional consultation regarding insurance and coverage issues (daily)
• Prompt response to all inquiries from program Staff (daily)
• Explanation of any and all errors and omissions and strategies for rectifying same
• Presentation of renewal terms (minimum 30-60 days prior to renewal)
• Ad hoc binding of coverage as required, handling deletion/coverage change requests
- Claims service, which may include, but not be limited to:
• Claims advocacy
• Outlining claims service provided by insurers
• Liaison with broker’s claims specialist
• Interpretation of coverage
• Annual production of loss reports on all policies as requested, or an ad hoc basis
• Assistance in facilitating claims settlement with insurers.
