The Vendor is required to provide a consultant/broker for employee benefits services for County.
- The objective of this project is to ensure affordable and comprehensive health benefits and wellness coverage, which meets the needs of a diverse workforce.
- Provide for broker services which offer expertise, experience, and market access to health and ancillary benefit programs.
- Consultant that will:
• Assess, design, negotiate and execute health and other ancillary benefits;
• Develop and implement employee engagement strategies, including employee education;
• Deliver a data rich platform capable of capturing trends and producing nuanced predictive analysis;
• Understand programmatic needs of a workforce with six unique collective bargaining agreements; and
• Project future needs based upon employee demographics and current plan utilization trends.
- The consultant will use this knowledge to consult with Human Resources and Fiscal to offer plan design options which best fit the evolving needs of the county for evaluating current health and ancillary benefits
- The Consultant will collect, organize, and analyze the relevant data and support materials including plan utilization data along with industry trends and forecasts to facilitate monthly discussions, plan review, and revisions to plan design.
- The Consultant will proactively communicate with stakeholders based upon the Consultant’s deep understanding of the county’s needs and proactive analysis of plan data.
- The Consultant will be responsive to escalated issues and utilize its resources and networks to deliver superb problem-solving skills.
