The Vendor is required to provide employee benefits broker and consulting service providers to handle the brokerage services for the college’s Health and Welfare insurance programs.
- The broker who will be the most effective and proactive partner in assisting the college in managing its Health and Welfare insurance programs and provide compliance support services.
- Provide advice and assistance in reviewing College’s benefits program on an ongoing basis to ensure that those plans are in compliance with federal requirements and are competitive for the higher education market.
- Recommend alternative benefit designs and delivery systems as dictated by emerging plan costs or benefit practices.
- Assist in exploring administrative software to allow on-line electronic enrollment, if requested.
- Assist in reviewing, reaffirming or changing the goals and objectives of the benefit design.
- Provide Anne College with information and advice on pending or new legislation, changes in tax law and benefit trends that may affect the benefits program.
- Advise and assist in reviewing contracts, plan documents, insurance policies, and other documents for applicability, accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain records of the financial and claims experience, condition, and progress of College plans and provide quarterly reports summarizing plan performance as compared to annual renewal expectation, if requested for life, short and long term disability.
- Assist with preparation of benefits communications materials, if requested.
- Monitor performance of carriers and participate in provider meetings, if requested.
- Develop and assist in implementation of new insurance plans.
