The Vendor is required to provide all professional services necessary to obtain appropriate insurance policies on a cost-effective basis and assist in administering a professional, comprehensive risk management program for district.
- The District is authorized to acquire liability, property, and other appropriate insurance coverages and has deemed it prudent to place such coverages as are advisable by a qualified consultant, expert in the insurance areas required by the district and its risk management and safety office.
- Review insurance policies, binders, and endorsements to ensure that all wording is complete and accurate.
- The District currently places All Risk Real & Business Personal Property insurance and related coverages directly with its insurance carrier, but broker services to either place or provide consulting services on this line of coverage could be required in the future.
- The District will select a Consultant to handle any or all of the coverages provided in the Schedule of Insurance Policies, as well as any new policies that may be required during the course of the agreement for services.
