The Vendor is required to provide insurance brokerage firms capable of providing comprehensive insurance services as needed.
- Insurance brokers with demonstrated expertise assisting state local government entities and political subdivisions, including water districts and river authorities, in areas including, but not limited to: general liability, property, automobile liability, and workers' compensation, aviation (unmanned aircraft systems and drones), aviation (helicopter), crime, cyber liability, and director bonds.
- The insurance brokerage services to be provided within these areas include, at a minimum, advising the district on insurance-related matters, including contract reviews for insurance requirements, governmental immunity considerations, and risk exposure assessments to help identify potential gaps or redundancies in coverage, market placement and negotiation of insurance programs, policy review and coverage analysis, claims advocacy and support, and the provision of both oral and written recommendations and reports to support informed decision-making.
