The Vendor is required to provide providing real estate title services or searches including preparing a record owner and lien certificate for up to 3,800 properties located throughout the city
- The services will include but not be limited to 60-year title searches, reviewing and providing legal descriptions, providing and organizing deeds and deed related documents, liens, and summarizing findings.
- Services include:
• Providing record owner and lien certificate for each requested property electronically (list of open liens, mortgages, and judgements, not a government issued lien certificate)
• Conducting 60-year title searches (prepare on basis of 60-year search for each, but agency reserves the right to negotiate final search parameters)
• Organizing findings and reports in a way to accessible to agency staff
• Working with agency staff for progress reports, updates and clarifications as needed
• Reviewing agency information about properties to confirm title status
• Conducting searches and requests in person at the department of records
• Conducting special searches of improperly indexed documents.
