Commercial Real Estate Broker Services

The Vendor is required to provide commercial real estate brokers for the sale of three existing city owned properties and acquisition of one identified property for sale to locate the department.
• Advice regarding pricing, market valuation, and appraisals of the three city owned properties and the identified property for acquisition;
• Strategic planning and marketing the three city-owned parcels for sale;
• Acquiring title searches and condition assessments of all properties identified;
• Negotiating with outside parties on the sale and acquisition of properties;
• Progress updates and timely communication with members of the city council, assigned city staff, and other city consultants with active interests in the transaction;
• Make presentations at public meetings and to city officials and staff;
• Consult with the city attorney and outside legal counsel on real property deed restrictions and terms of sale;
• Handle all customary activities and services associated with real estate brokerage services and real property transactions; and
• Provide deliverables such as title searches, appraisals, a building condition study for the acquired property, valuations, marketing plans, and reports that may be issued during the term of the agreement.
