The Vendor is required to provide real estate appraisal services for the city on an as-needed basis.
• The firm shall designate a single point of contact for timely resolutions of any issues that may arise relating to an assignment.
• A “not to exceed” amount will be determined before each assignment and included in the service order, along with a unique scope and additional details for each project.
• All assignments must be completed by a certified general appraiser licensed by the state appraiser licensing and certification board, and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as the provisions of the uniform standards of professional appraisal practice, which include ensuring competency, including geographic competency, and utilizing recognized and appropriate appraisal methods and techniques.
• Confirm and contact the affected property owner(s) to provide the opportunity to accompany the appraiser on an inspection of the property, unless instructed otherwise by the city.
