Electronics Recycling Services

The vendor is required to provide to secure expanded electronic recycling services through stable, environmentally sound, and reasonably priced services as described in this solicitation.
- Electronics recycling services
• All bid prices shall be inclusive of all labor, equipment, transportation, fees, and surcharges.
• The contractor shall provide twenty-foot (20’) proper enclosed, ground-level collection/storage containers as well as the corresponding pallets and gaylord boxes for the electronic recyclables (if applicable) and or the offloading of palletized gaylords from the container or the pick-up/haul of the entire container, when full, to an approved MRF, end user market, or other electronic recyclables handling facility from the six (6) county convenience centers.
• This container could be either stationary or a transportable storage container; a stationary container from which the electronic material would be stored until the container is filled, then reloaded by the successful contractor into a different vehicle for transport or, a transportable container which can be loaded and hauled as is.
• The contractor shall provide containers at each convenience center for the collection of single stream electronic recyclable materials which may include; PC/PCU’s, monitors, tv’s, printers/fax machines and scanners, and miscellaneous items. miscellaneous items may include: keyboards, laptops, servers, all-in-ones, mice, stereos, radios, tape players, telephones, electronic games, alarm clocks, audio and visual equipment, and other electronic material.
• It is the county’s desire to obtain the maximum recycling credit and revenue for all materials collected.
• The contractor shall neatly off-load or replace the containers on the premises from which materials are collected and shall not litter the streets or premises in any manner while performing any duties described herein.
• The contractor shall provide the county with collection information reports regarding the weight of recycled material by each convenience center location to monitor state recycling goal reduction targets.
