Short Term Rental Software and Related Services

The vendor is required to provide based on preliminary information the software package shall, at a minimum, include the following features, functionality, information, and capabilities:
• Host registration and permit fee portal;
• The ability to search registered properties by certificate number, name, or address;
• A search engine which searches all locally-active electronic rental platforms, to identify properties in the county which are offered as short-term rentals;
• The ability to maintain property-specific files and to print file documents;
• The ability to upload documents and photos;
• Calculation of taxes owed, including penalties and interest;
• An on-line tax return form;
• Acceptance of tax payments;
• The ability to generate notices to hosts, using county templates, to be issued via mail and e-mail;
• Report capabilities for revenue reporting and managing non-compliance;
• The ability to generate reports of advertised rental rates for a particular property, as posted on locally-active electronic rental platforms;
• An on-line public complaint portal available 24/7/365;
• Customer support services available to county staff during business hours; and
• Additional features, functionalities, and capabilities that may be available to the county.
