The Vendor is required to provide temporary event infrastructure and sanitation equipment rentals -include but not limited to temporary fencing, bike racks, portable sanitation systems, and three compartment sinks.
- Requirement:
1. Temporary fencing and site infrastructure
• Build-in and build-out: delivery, installation, and removal of all temporary fencing at event sites.
• Temporary fence rental: supply of screened fencing, standard fencing, and any necessary accessories such as sandbags, bases, or barriers.
• Temporary bike racks: delivery, installation, and removal of bike racks as required for event access and crowd management.
• Ensure all equipment, including fencing, is positioned safely, securely, and in accordance with city event layouts and safety requirements.
2. Portable sanitation systems
• Build-in and build-out: delivery, installation, and removal of portable restrooms, restroom trailers, and hand-washing stations.
• Portapotties: standard portable restroom units for event attendees.
• Restroom trailers: higher-capacity restroom trailers, including VIP units, as specified by the city.
• Hand-washing stations: temporary hand-washing facilities compliant with public health standards.
• Three-compartment sinks: provision and setup of sinks for food vendors and other event sanitation needs.
• Cleaning services for non-contracted units: provide cleaning services for portable sanitation units that are not rented through the contractor but are present on-site (e.g., units rented by other vendors or city departments).
• Provision of paper goods and consumables: supply extra toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and other necessary consumables to maintain functionality and hygiene for all units throughout the event.
3. Event support and coordination
• Coordinate with city staff to determine placement, quantity, and type of all fencing, sanitation, and site infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to service requests, including emergency cleaning, additional equipment, or consumable replenishment.
• Ensure that all equipment is maintained in a clean, safe, and fully operational condition throughout the event.
• Remove all equipment promptly at the conclusion of the event and leave the site in clean, orderly condition.
4. Compliance and safety
• Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal safety, health, and accessibility standards.
• Ensure that all installed fencing, restrooms, and other temporary facilities meet ADA accessibility requirements and other relevant regulations.
• Trained personnel for installation, maintenance, and cleaning of all equipment.
