RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide mental health and psychiatric services at district per requirements outlined and indicated herein.
- The district will utilize contracted services, and the assignment of support services and staffing will include all 43 schools depending on needs.
- Provide the following goods and/or services, but not limited to:
• Provide enough therapists to work with an average of 200+/- students over the course of a school year.
• Provide enough case management support staff to work with an average of about 200 +/- students over the course of a school year.
• Provide therapy services which include but are not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, therapy services for students identified with autism, therapy designed for students with contraindicating diagnosis.
• Capacity to provide psychiatric services and/or refer to a psychiatrist for identified students needing medication management and/or psychiatric care.
• Ability to deliver therapeutic mental health activities to groups of students.
• Ability to provide comprehensive professional development in mental health for licensed and certified mental health staff.
• Ability to travel across district to 43 schools.
• Provide direct and indirect services to identified students on a weekly basis.
• Provide a comprehensive treatment plan and provide monthly updates on progress towards meeting therapeutic goals.
• Provide data on services provided and be able to delineate when students are released from services.
• Ability to attend student meetings such as, IEP, 504, PST, class 3 hearings, and other school or district-based meetings referencing the student and family or legal guardian.
• Attend and support schools experiencing a crisis event by providing therapy and counseling support to students.
• Provide mental health and psychiatric services, including but not limited to: grief, trauma, sexual trauma, depression, anger, anxiety, and other related mental health concerns.
• Provide timesheets indicating hours worked, and detailed schedules indicating school visits and students served.
