The vendor is required to provide a district-wide ai platform designed for both teacher and student use.
- The district is identifying a product that has the following functions and features:
• District admin access:
o Monitoring of all accounts including logins and generations
o Tool usage data broken down by date and tool
• Teacher access:
o Teacher ready tools focused on enhancing instructional and planning capacity of teachers
o Customizable chatbot for more advanced users
o Ongoing support to develop specific teacher ready tools for agency based iterative feedback
• Student access
o Monitored environment for students that can be tracked at multiple levels including built in safety measures for student tool and chat environments
o Teacher controlled rooms
o Student feedback resources through predesigned tools or real time ai interactions
• Delivery
o Desired live date is July 1, 2025 for district use
• Professional Learning
o The district is seeking 3 personal professional learning days with the selected vendor.
o One to be virtual or in person with the district's educational technology team prior to the July 1 launch date.
o The second being a content specific professional learning day to be delivered in the fall of 2025.
o This would be co-developed and co-delivered with the DPS ed tech team.
o The 3rd professional learning day would be a collaborative step back in January, 2026 to identify opportunities for growth
• Collaboration
o As part of the contract, agency is requesting quarterly meetings with the chosen supplier to understand usage trends, product templates, and collaborate on potential ongoing tool improvements elevated by teachers and students.
