The vendor is required to provide the security system maintenance, repair, and support services related to the physical security systems at the airport.
- Include for services:
• the contractor shall perform maintenance, repair, support services, and preventive maintenance, including “moves, adds, and changes” (macs), for the airport’s security systems and associated network to ensure that the access control system (acs), video management system (VMS), identity management system (idms), and associated hardware, interfaces, and all their subcomponents are fully functional throughout the term of the contract for the sole purpose of providing proper, safe, and reliable operations of the security systems at LGB.
• The services consist generally of furnishing all labor, materials, appliances, tools, lifts, equipment, services, and supervision required to perform all maintenance and repair/replacement services, preventive maintenance, programming, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, modifications, or installing new equipment, devices, and components as necessary, updating all documentation to reflect security system-related components macs, repairs, and maintaining an onsite spare parts inventory for all security systems at LGB.
• Prepare and administer Genetec systems training annually for airport staff. training shall be partitioned into three succinct categories: 1) operator training, 2) administrator training, and 3) basic end user training. each category of training shall consist of 8 hours of instruction based on Genetec approved training materials and current versions of Genetec systems software installed at the time.
• The contractor shall provide repair and preventive maintenance services for security systems and associated hardware, including controllers, modules, card readers, door locking, sensors, horns, lights, relays, switches, id badge printers, fingerprint scanners, id digital cameras, badge printer consumables (ribbons, print cartridges, laminates, etc.), credential stock, emergency call boxes, intercoms, cameras, encoders, and power supplies with batteries.
• the contractor shall provide repair, preventive maintenance, updated services, and troubleshooting for LGB’s security system software, sub-system API software, and workstations.
• The contractor shall provide repair and preventive maintenance for security system interfaces, such as external remote alarm notification, wireless handheld monitoring, and relays and switches associated with acs and baggage handling systems, panic buttons, and associated servers, workstations, video archives, video walls, displays, printers, and scanners.
• The contractor shall provide repair and preventive maintenance for security system network equipment, such as switches, firewall, servers, and wireless transmission radios.
• The contractor shall manage the security network, to include malicious software mitigation, data loss prevention, logging, network security, patch management, live network monitoring, etc.
• The contractor shall have the ability to subcontract out repairs to door hardware vendors for electronic locks, panic hardware, exit devices, keypads, door position switches, etc.
• The contractor shall have the ability to subcontract out repairs to automated vehicle gate hardware vendors for motorized gate operators, sliding gates, safety devices, sensors, wide-gap contacts, buried vehicle loop detectors, etc.
• The contractor must be familiar with and proficient at performing maintenance services as recommended by LGB security systems and equipment manufacturers.
• Provide a full-time staff member to be onsite 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday during normal business hours (exact hours to be determined by the airport) with no holiday schedule.
• The contractor shall perform inspection and maintenance services on a semiannual basis on an approved schedule to maintain system reliability.
• At all times, the contractor’s employees will be required to maintain a record of the services provided, including macs, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• The record must include at a minimum, date, time, employee name, activity or problem description, actions or resolutions, and city personnel referring the service call.
• The contractor shall prepare and submit on-demand common reports, at the request of the airport, to provide city personnel with information on the security system.
• The contractor shall maintain a digital spare parts list to track inventory.
