RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide installation of new cameras and the video management system (VMS), support the closed circuit television (CCTV) system and equipment, and perform preventative maintenance of CCTV system and equipment twice per year as stated herein.
- The term closed circuit television systems (CCTV), is defined as all components of security surveillance systems, including, but not limited to cameras, network video recorders (NVR), camera controllers, cabling, power supplies, and switches.
- All labor, materials, supervision, equipment, transportation, and tools to perform CCTV systems installation, support, and preventative maintenance inspection (PMI) services.
- Readily and locally available to provide PMI, routine service on CCTV systems, and installation of new CCTV equipment on an as-needed basis for various buildings throughout the county for both scheduled projects and emergency repairs.
- Capable of servicing multiple locations at the times requested by the county.
- Designate one (1) employee as principal with full responsibility for directing each crew.
- Each principal shall be authorized to direct work activities including but not limited to:
• Scheduling work
• Answering technical questions within the team
• Directing work priorities while on the job site
- Each principal must be able to effectively communicate in English with the county staff and with the general public.
- All CCTV recordings are considered county property; at no time shall contractor download to any media storage device or transmit any stored media to non-county computers, servers, or any other non-county devices.
- Contractor will coordinate work so that there is minimal to no interruption to daily work at any location.
- Any damage to county or third-party property caused by the contractor or their employees.
- Services shall be performed at a unit price as detailed in the fee schedule and include all labor, tools, & materials (examples including, but not limited to electrical tape, conduit connectors, network termination connectors), equipment, and travel necessary to perform the following services:
• Preventative maintenance inspections & building report creation
• Technical support services
• Existing system disconnection and dismounting services
• Existing system reinstallation and setup services
• Replacement system install and setup services
• Installation of new equipment for CCTV systems
- Contractor must be registered as an axis technology integration partner.
- For contractor to perform their own cabling infrastructure:
• Structured copper cabling: contractor must be a leviton premier network design and installation contractor.
• Fiber installation: contractor must be a corning network of preferred installers (NPI) contractor.
- Failure to submit proof of required licenses or certifications within three (3) business days after request from the county may result in bidder being declared non-responsive.
- Ensure conditions on the work site reflect good housekeeping and safety practices at all times.
- Contractor shall be responsible for all trash and debris disposal from the work site.
- Contract Period/Term: 3 years
