RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide that consultant to develop cybersecurity tabletop exercise workshop services to improve and make more efficient small-urban, rural and tribal transit service by assisting local transit agencies in understanding, selecting, and otherwise planning to incorporate new technology into service.
- Agency anticipates the selected consultant will perform the following steps:
• Workshop framework
1. Review any relevant department documentation related to the workshop topic.
2. Finalize workshop framework with department.
• Workshop development
1. Work with the department team to develop a tabletop simulation of a cybersecurity incident that workshop attendees need to respond to.
2. Incorporate survey feedback into the workshop content to meet attendees where they are.
3. Develop materials on the basic approaches to the subject matter, including examples.
4. Develop relatable ‘sample situations’ for attendees to respond to, which evolve based on how attendees respond to the situation(s).
5. Develop interactive exercises for participants to continue practicing with their staff the techniques learned in the workshop.
6. Develop interactive exercises for department to include on its website for agencies that are unable to attend the workshop.
7. Develop other elements that will contribute to the desired outcomes determined by department
• Workshop facilitation
1. Materials developed during workshop development according to the framework to facilitate approximately either 1.5 hour or 3 hours of instruction time for one in-person workshop at a transit association conference; session availability remains uncertain, which is the reason for the 1.5-3-hour range
2. Be available to provide answers to attendee follow-up questions or materials for at least two weeks following the workshop.
3. department will be present to provide troubleshooting assistance in other aspects as requested by the facilitators.
• Conversion to on-demand
1. The materials developed and experiences from the live session to convert the content of workshops 1-3 to on-demand courses, to be hosted on department thinkific platform
• Facilitate second workshop
1. Depending on interest and feedback from the first workshop, department may elect to repeat task 3 at another transit association conference to provide the content to additional include a separate price included in the main price for this task.
