The Vendor is required to provide criminal background check services for child care provider employees seeking employment or continued employment with department licensed child care providers and for all State employees, contractors, and subcontractors who will have access to Federal Tax Information.
- Child care provider employee and federal tax information criminal background checks have separate submission, tracking, and invoicing platforms and requirements. the contractor also acknowledges that the state programs that request the child care provider employee and federal tax information criminal background checks are separate programs and shall not have access to the others criminal background results.
- Web-based system or portals that will be made available to the State as part of the background check process. Description should include, at a minimum, how users access the website/portal, submittal of requests, and review/retrieval of results.
- narrative that illustrates how the Respondent will ensure the security of background checks results, including, but not limited to, data breaches, non-authorized individual access to data, authorized user determination and procedures, and firewalls between the State’s request/result and that of other clients
- Provide narrative or spreadsheet that includes all items required for background checks to be completed for every state and territory
- Provide a narrative listing any and all requirements that your company may require the State to complete, including paperwork or registrations, prior to your company’s ability to conduct background checks in all required states.
- The contractor shall provide and maintain an online portal that can display and receive requests, show the status of processing, and post secure results.
