The vendor is required to provide for high quality and responsive disaster recovery (DR) services for the state’s government entities having a need to protect, recover, and reconstitute critical services dependent upon technology resources.
- Provide a range of disaster recovery hosting and reconstitution services.
- These services include at a minimum:
• Legacy mainframe disaster recovery services
• Traditional colocation services
• Data backup and recovery services
• Managed infrastructure as a service for disaster recovery
- Must fully participate in any compliance audit and/or assessment into which the services they provide to their state customers fall.
- The contractor will assign personnel to each agency as needed to meet the requirements of the services provided and to deliver the services with a high quality of customer service.
- The state’s security and regulatory compliance requirements, personnel with access to certain data types will be required to meet stringent security obligations as indicated in the applicable security standards.
- Provide and maintain at all times sufficient quantity of personnel to perform the services for which the contract has been awarded
- Provide sufficient disaster recovery planning and hosting services to recover any managed services that it provides to the state for mainframe, backup and recovery, colocation, and IAAS.
- The contractor must have a documented disaster recovery plan for its own infrastructure and services in order to recover the services it provides to the state, including the administrative, technical support, and financial components inherent to the operations of those services.
- Cloud-based IAAS solutions must replicate across geographic regions within the provider’s overall cloud offerings.
