The vendor is required to provide from qualified firms interested in installing new door access controls at our new park that is being constructed.
- Purchase and installation of six (6) card readers for door access with the appropriate rex device on the other side of the door.
- Purchase and installation of a card reader to open and shut an overhead garage door. The overhead garage door will be installed outside the scope of this RFP.
- Purchase and installation of any required door strike or latch hardware to work with the access control systems.
- Integration of the door access readers into the existing access IT universal system used by the city.
- Purchase of the appropriate door access control system control panel for this system.
- The door readers are to be compatible with the city’s existing rs2 technologies access it! universal software.
- The readers need to be able to read standard hid prox card ii cards.
- Control panel required for the functionality of the door access control system to be included.
- This includes a sufficient number of control boards for the doors in place.
- Battery backups to be included for the control panel.
- The rex units to be included and set for motion detection.
- All required configurations within the existing software to be included within the scope of this rfp.
- This includes the creation of a new site and all access levels, macros, tasks, schedules, etc.
- All network cabling required to be cat 6 plenum rated.
- All cat 6 cabling to be purple in color to denote security item.
- All cabling to be properly dressed and tested
- Wire hangers, ladder trays, etc. to be installed as necessary.
- Any electrical requirements to be coordinated with the building contractor’s electrical sub-contractor and not be included within this RFP.
- All other required cabling for the door access system to be provided by the bidder and included within this RFP.
- The bidder shall provide a diagram in a microsoft format or adobe pdf showing the wiring topology between the devices involved in this solution.
