The Vendor is required to provide employment background check services work with department.
- Employment and related investigations and background checks, provide the following services:
• Social security trace and residence search
• Criminal background checks in the state, including all state counties, and on occasion, out of-state and out-of-state county.
• Criminal background check reports should include criminal history for 10 years.
• Federal criminal records check
• Social media profiles and online presence checks, including blogs
• Credit history checks
• Employment verification
• Education verification
• License and certification verification
- Provide a complete results package electronically to pace’s human resource department within one (1) week of the original date of the requested service.
- Provide an online secure portal so users can request background check services.
- The portal shall also provide access to a repository that will store, and archive reports and make it accessible by pace’s human resources department as needed.
- Faxed and mailed copies may be used as back-up methods only.
- The employee background checks must integrate with oracle HCM cloud software applicant tracking system.
- Information system integration requirements
1. User authentication and authorization
• The system must authenticate and authorize users before allowing access to background check functionalities.
2. Data exchange
• The system must support secure data exchange protocols to send and receive background check data.
3. Request submission
• The system must allow HR personnel to submit background check requests directly from oracle cloud HCM.
• The system must capture necessary candidate information (e.g., name, SSN, address) for background checks.
4. Status tracking
• The system must provide real-time status updates of background check requests.
• The system must notify HR personnel of completed background checks.
5. Result integration
• The system must automatically import background check results into the candidate’s profile in oracle cloud HCM.
• The system must flag any discrepancies or issues found in the background check.
6. Audit trail
• The system must maintain an audit trail of all background check requests and results for compliance purposes.
- The result package shall include results from the social security trace, criminal background checks, social media and internet checks, and if requested, credit history check, employment verification, education verification, license and certification verification and any other employment related services requested.
