The vendor is required to provide from qualified firms that are interested in providing on-call design and drafting, inspection and construction management services for various public works and utilities projects in the city.
- Perform project administration and engineering services, including but not limited to, the following:
• Coordinate with city staff to obtain all necessary information needed to provide the services requested, such as maps, and organizing budget information, as well as timeline for procurement or construction.
• The city will provide any information available, such as project files, records, design information, etc.
• Assist the city in construction management and overseeing all on-going site works from start to project completion.
• Prepares cost estimates, bid specification and documents for project bidding.
• Attend pre-construction and weekly coordination meetings.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering plans for various utilities improvements projects and related engineering projects
• Provide site inspections during the construction phase of project.
• Prepares and maintains necessary records, reports and correspondence as required on the project documentation. interpret and explain plans and contract terms to the contractor.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with the contractors.
• Examine plans and make recommendations, including changes to the cip for various projects.
• Assist the city in addressing property owners with questions concerning the project, and other related issues.
• All other duties as assigned.
