The vendor is required to provide to identify eligible applicants capable of implementing the enhancing rural health systems project.
- This initiative aims to strengthen rural healthcare infrastructure by supporting activities such as technical assistance, workforce development, information dissemination, stakeholder engagement, and system-level improvements.
- Project activities and performance requirements
• Maintain and disseminate an up-to-date directory of certified rural health clinics (RHCs) across the state to enhance communication, outreach, and support efforts by the center for rural health and population studies.
o Update and publish the rural health clinic directory annually, ensuring it includes current contact information, clinic services, and location.
• Enhance the billing and coding capacity of RHCs and federally qualified health centers (FQHCS) in state by providing targeted training and continuing education opportunities.
o Host an in-person RHC billing and coding course for a minimum of 30 participants. 
o Course will cover RHC specific billing guidelines, compliance updates, and coding best practices, and will offer continuing education units (CEUS) to attendees.
• Strengthen the operational and administrative capacity of RHCs by providing a comprehensive professional development course for clinic leaders and staff.
o Facilitate a RHC professional course designed to enhance knowledge in key areas such as compliance, operations, leadership, and quality improvement.
• Promote awareness, collaboration, and innovation in rural health through statewide convening and outreach activities, including the annual state rural health conference and state rural health day.
o Facilitate the annual MS rural health conference
o Support and coordinate activities for MS rural health day.
o Purchase materials in support of MS rural health day to be distributed to members and partners of statewide rural health organizations. 
o All vendors and materials must be approved in advance by the office of rural health. - Reporting requirements
