RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide entertainment consulting services for these events can significantly impact venue availability and must be carefully considered during the booking process; some events may provide opportunities for concerts or performances that complement the city's activities, while others will restrict booking due to scheduling conflicts or logistical challenges; additionally, the arena has dates reserved for other contracted events, and all bookings should be coordinated with both the building wide event schedule and other county events that may affect availability.
- Market Evaluations
• Perform a market analysis (central state/county) to understand target audience demographics and preferences.
• Conduct a detailed competitor analysis of regional and national venues and events, identifying unique opportunities to differentiate the venues.
• Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations for event positioning, programming, and competitive advantages for the county center.
• All of the analysis and recommendations detailed above should include the county center, keeping in mind an anticipated availability of spring/summer 2026.
- Financial analysis
• Develop proforma budgets and financial models to evaluate different investment scenarios for both promoter-driven and internally-driven events.
• Recommend financial strategies to maximize profitability for the ocean center.
• Lead booking negotiations and contract discussions for promoter-driven and internally produced events to ensure favorable terms and successful event execution.
• The county center, with an anticipated opening of spring/summer 2026, needs to be included.
- Booking and talent acquisition
• Collaborate with staff to establish and strengthen relationships with national and regional promoters, and secure promoter-driven high-profile performers, legendary artists, and rising stars with a proven track record of strong ticket sales to bring exceptional entertainment experiences:
1.County center: A minimum of 4 concerts in year 1 and 6 concerts in year 2.
2.County: Minimum of 4 concerts first year of operation, with an anticipated opening/availability of spring/summer 2026.
• Develop and present programming options for internally-driven events, including concerts, comedy shows, influencer events, and other trending entertainment.
• Work in partnership with staff to secure talent for internally- driven events.
• Review and make recommendations for booking procedures, promoter agreements, rental rates, and equipment pricing.
• Position the ocean center as a premier destination within the entertainment industry by engaging in targeted outreach and fostering strong relationships with key promoters, agents, and industry professionals.
• Explore and propose additional revenue opportunities, such as sponsorships, premium seating options, VIP experiences, and merchandising.
• Act as the primary booking agent for the venue, representing the county interests to secure talent and ensure a diverse and dynamic lineup of events
