RFP Description

The vendor is required to provide that environmental consultant services for on an as-needed basis including, but not limited to investigation and analysis of potential hazardous substances, asbestos containing material sampling, lead based paint bulk sampling, water intrusion damage investigation, post mold air sampling, abatement and remediation scope definition, design and contract documentation preparation, bid analysis, on-site inspections with air monitoring and final inspection and documentation.
- Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the services, including drawings, proper permitting, as well as any other requirements needed for the work
- Provide complete and timely performance of everything described in or reasonably implied from the contract documents (the services).
- The consultant warrants that it is fully qualified to perform the services and shall perform the services in accordance with the professional standards of the industry and in strict accordance with the provisions of the contract documents.
- The consultant shall:
• Perform the services in an expeditious and economical manner consistent with the county’s interests and to the satisfaction of the county representative, within the specified period of performance.
• Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the design or other services as required for the services.  
• Thoroughly review and become familiar with any existing plans, utility drawings, etc. related to the subject project.
• Protect all county buildings and the surrounding areas from damage and return to original condition if damaged or disturbed.
• Safely barricade all work to ensure safe separation of consultant’s materials, equipment and operations from individuals in the building.
• Secure all vehicles, materials, and equipment while not in use.
• All meetings and site visits through the county project manager.
• Attend project meetings with the project team (including the county and its contractor) as applicable. • Display the personnel-specific security badge(s) provided by the county at all times while working on site.
• Said badges shall not be shared among consultant personnel.
• Schedule all testing as required for approval by authorities having jurisdiction.  
• Abide by all county policies regarding the work site.
