The vendor is required to provide for the purchase and installation of network equipment including 5 year cloud subscriptions/licenses.
- The new network switch installation will include switches into existing rack locations.
- Wireless access points are located in classrooms, gymnasiums, auditoriums, office spaces, corridors, lunchrooms, libraries and other school rooms, we plan to use existing wire drops for 14 of the Wireless points.
- Wireless Access Points
• Shall be pre-programmed and tested off site, prior to on-site work beginning by the Respondent.
• Respondent will coordinate with the District IT staff for appropriate VLAN’s, IP address schemes, naming conventions, and SSID’s.
• Shall be connected to existing structured cabling locations.  Respondent shall include all brackets and patch cables.
- Installation of 40 CAT6 data drops
• Cable should meet the following requirements:
1. Data distribution shall be General Cable GenSpeed 6000 or equivalent. All data distribution cables shall meet or exceed the Category 6 specifications.
2. All cables must be labeled with a machine generated label per industry standards.
3. All data cable runs must have a ten (2) foot service loop on the IDF end of the cable and a three (3) foot service loop at the jack end.  
• Patch Cables and Connections
1. Patch cables and connections from patch panels to switches.
2. Patch cables and connections from switch to switch.
- Provide and install machine-printed label strips on the front and for each port of the patch panels.
- Terminate the distribution cables in proper labeling order.
- Terminate individual cable pairs utilizing proper tool.
