RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide appropriate levels of event medical services, as required by the center, for the safety and protection of guests and employees in the facility.
- Must assure that a sufficient number of responsible, well-equipped, certified emergency medical technicians (EMT) or higher will be on site for any service request.
- Must provide ambulance(s) on site upon request.
- Provide an accurate and complete invoice for each event individually and within twenty-four (24) hours of the conclusion of each event.
- Provide personnel twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week including holidays and within four (4) hours from initial request by center; center may, on occasion, request a specific person or persons to work a specific event
- Provide additional personnel or replacement personnel within one (1) hour of a request.
- It is the responsibility of the contractor to track the hours worked by their personnel; it is the contractor’s responsibility to inform center if that laborer is approaching overtime hours or change in pay rate; center will not pay for overtime.
- Responsible for obtaining any required licenses, permits or insurance coverage specified by federal, state or local regulations.
- Provide all agency required training for all medical personnel at no cost to the center.
- Provide basic supplies and medications appropriate for treatment of minor illness and injury.
- Provide basic equipment for anticipated medical situations: bag-valve-mask (BVM), suction, blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, automated external defibrillator (AED), bleed control kits, IV start kits, and stretcher, wheelchair, immobilization and extrication devices.
- Inspect and stock all center first aid stations monthly; supplies purchased by center.
- Contractor is responsible for clean-up and proper disposal of all biohazards related to the service provided.
- Available on telephone or center-provided radio at all times for immediate response to emergency situations when deployed to deliver services.
- Record the details of any medical services performed at center; upon request by center, the contractor shall provide clear and organized reports containing the injury and/or illness being treated, action performed to treat the patient, and any known cause of the injury and/or illness.
- Contractor will appoint one of its staff as a member of the center safety committee and support center in safety training and other safety support issues, as requested by the center.
- Personnel must comply with all center policies & procedures; the contractor is responsible for resolving any violation of center policies & procedures.
- Contract Period/Term: 2 years
