The vendor is required to provide food service food, materials, supplies, supervision of inmates working in the kitchen areas, and services, and otherwise do all things necessary for, or incidental to, providing food service to the inmates at the county jail.
- Provide an onsite food service liaison employed by the county to coordinate with the successful offeror and serve as the sheriff’s designee/liaison.
- Any complaints, issues, or challenges need to be reported by contractor to the food service liaison.
- Develop and maintain a written contingency plan to be enacted in the event contractor’s primary staff is sick or otherwise unable to arrive at the facility to deliver a meal service.
- Provide sheriff’s designee/liaison a copy of the most up-to-date version of such contingency plan(s) and will promptly respond to and resolve any concerns.
- Provide for the opportunity to absorb current kitchen and food staff within its staffing.
- Jail facility has a fully equipped kitchen, dishwashing area, dry storage area, walk-in cooler, walk-in freezer, ice machine, and loading area.
- Contract Period/Term: 3 years
