The Vendor is required to provide ongoing, as-needed professional services related to Microsoft technologies and enterprise data support.
- Work in close collaboration with the City’s Information Technology (IT) Department to assist in the planning, implementation, and support of Microsoft-based solutions that enhance operational efficiency across City departments.
- Professional services agreement with a trusted Microsoft Partner capable of providing flexible, cross-departmental support.
- The selected partner should be prepared to:
• Serve as an extension of the City’s IT team, supporting multiple departments with varying needs
• Deliver on-call, scalable Microsoft services and consulting
• Help departments assess, plan, and implement modern technology solutions using Microsoft tools
• Provide expert technical guidance across Microsoft environments and enterprise data systems
• Ensure solutions meet compliance, security, and governance standards
• Support knowledge transfer through staff training and clear documentation
• Evaluate departmental processes to identify opportunities for optimization using
Microsoft tools
• Provide consulting services and best-practice recommendations across Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, OneDrive, Exchange, etc.)
• Support system administration, configuration, and deployment activities within the City’s Microsoft 365 environment
• Assist in the design and implementation of department-specific data solutions, workflows, and reporting dashboards
• Offer end-user and administrative training, as well as ongoing technical support
• Create or contribute to governance documentation, templates, and technical standards.
