The vendor is required to provide geographic information systems (GIS) support and service related to geospatial applications, data, databases, systems, web, cloud, and desktop solutions used to assist and support the government with administering, planning, designing, development, integration, producing, monitoring, testing, analyzing, managing, testing and presenting features linked to a location.

- Geographic information systems (GIS) technical support:
• Prepare, create, and publish new GIS datasets and maintain existing GIS datasets associated features, attributes, and metadata using agency ArcGIS enterprise and ArcGIS online products;
• Maintain data quality and data security of existing datasets and published data services;
• Create high-quality digital map products for distribution to requesting stakeholders;
• Conduct GPS and survey data collection for the creation and maintenance of gis datasets;
• Create, publish, and maintain ArcGIS online web-based mapping applications and dashboards;
• Provide agency roads and highways support, as requested by the customer;
• Maintain user accounts and enforce access controls for each discrete system;
• Provide subject matter expertise in project development and business analysis tasks and
• Conduct map research and map product distribution tasks
- Geographic information systems (GIS) analysis:
• Analyze spatial and tabular data through the use of agency ArcGIS desktop and ArcGIS online products;
• Discover patterns and trends through geospatial analysis and mapping of data;
• Produce maps showing the spatial distribution of various kinds of data and outcomes of geospatial analysis;
• Apply geospatial data analysis tools to generate user-friendly and efficient interfaces and reports;
• Create and improve geospatial visualizations based on updates of analysis tasks and/or input from customers;
• Create, publish, and maintain ArcGIS online web-based mapping applications and dashboards;

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, systems, and applications, including operating systems, networking, and other third-party applications.
• Install, configure, and maintain ArcGIS enterprise instances;
• Install and configure a Microsoft windows server for use as an application server, web server, or database server;
• Ensure servers are current with firmware, drivers, patches, and security updates in accordance with state and agency policies;
• Support management and maintenance of all local servers and databases;
• Support management and maintenance of virtual and cloud infrastructure(s), including desktops, servers, and databases;
• Work in tandem with the database administration team to optimize the overall performance of the GIS system architecture;
• support backup and recovery procedures for all infrastructure components;

• Database, system, and application integration;
• Administer and configure agency environments within relational database management systems, including, but not limited to, AWS RDS, Microsoft SQL server, oracle, and Postgres;
• Configuration support for GIS cots solutions;
• Create new databases and maintain existing databases;
• Create associated database triggers and stored procedures to enhance associated application(s);
• Apply patches and conduct maintenance activities;
• Conduct database backups and recovery activities and security monitoring;

• Install, configure, and upgrade ArcGIS enterprise, ArcGIS desktop, ArcGIS indoors, and ArcGIS workflow manager in both windows and cloud (AWS) environments;
• Monitoring of ArcGIS servers and agency services in both windows and cloud (AWS) environments;
• Windows server administration, troubleshooting, and support;
• Support, troubleshoot and administrate cloud platforms, particularly amazon web services
(AWS); Experience with AWS services such as ec2, RDS, s3, ELB and auto-scaling

• Make recommendations for development and projects based on the overall mission of the GIO program and agency;
• Compile/review weekly status reports and provide updates to GIO program management; and
• Perform other related duties as assigned by GIO program management.

• Develop course content for both classroom and online delivery;

• Work with end users to troubleshoot any reported GIS technology problems;
• Provide tier 2 support to end users via the designated helpdesk system;
• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation GIS software, and associated networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products;
• Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex pc problems for a variety of end users and recommend and implement corrective solutions;
• Participate in annual fixed asset inventory;
• Receive, log, and respond to incoming calls and/or e-mails regarding GIS software and/or associated hardware problems using the designated helpdesk system;
• Schedule and perform GIS software, associated hardware, and peripheral equipment improvements, upgrades, and repairs following identified schedule(s); and
• Support deployment of new GIS software installations.
