The Vendor is required to provide the services of a consultant to provide technical assistance in conducting a landscape assessment of university schools including capacity of current inclusive postsecondary education (IPSE) programming.
- Consultant will:
• Identify gaps in service areas where inclusive postsecondary education programs do not exist within university.
• Identify opportunities for scaling inclusive postsecondary education programs within university that provides full inclusion for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the domains of academic, housing (if applicable to the campus), and extracurricular opportunities, to increase the number of students with IDD obtaining a postsecondary credential/certificate from a university institution.
• Create and facilitate surveys and focus groups of key stakeholders on campuses as well as leadership within university.
• Collect and analyze the data to develop a final deliverable.
• The final deliverable will include a comprehensive report with recommendations and detailed timeline for implementation of inclusive postsecondary education programming across university schools with a measurement and evaluation plan.
• Recommendations should align with the model accreditation standards for higher education programs for students with intellectual disability: progress on the path to education, employment, and community living, with the expectation that programs developed at selected university institutions will prepare and submit for the comprehensive transition and postsecondary (CTP) program designation from the state’s department.
