RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide and manage a free, secure web based tuition and fee payment service (bank transfers, debit/credit card) for our 1,400 plus international students that also includes offering a competitive rate of exchange.
- The web-based service should receive payments and process outgoing payments (refunds) to the student.
- Offering our international students a simple and convenient payment option that can be accessed worldwide, in their desired currency will reduce payment delays and the need to establish a state bank account upon arrival to campus.
- This will also alleviate any excessive fees associated with traditional bank transfers.
- Our goal is to improve the tuition /fee payment process while improving the student’s university experience.
- The bursar's office seeks to quickly and accurately receive tuition and fee payments from our international students, to minimize the time and processing costs associated with reconciling payments, to promptly issue international refunds, and to simplify the payment process for the student.
- The payment system must be in compliance with agency digital accessibility policy, including compliance with WCAG (web content accessibility guidelines) level a and AA version 2.1
- Required to provide a VPAT (voluntary product accessibility template).
- The payment system must integrate directly into the city banner student information system through banner self-service.
- Additionally, the integration must account for different types of student payments and must also provide for an integrated refund solution.
- Required to list the total number of countries served with a local currency option.
- Must explain available options to students should local currency not be available.
- Describe how various currencies can easily be converted into agency and vice versa.
- Confirm that it provides 24/7 accessibility for students to make a payment.
- Explain support services to students and to university employees (payment Assistance 24/7).
- Must present how the university may verify what rates and fees students are paying in the process.
